MathLibre is the direct descendant of KNOPPIX/Math Project. We started KNOPPIX/Math Project at February 2003, and we restarted this project at March 2012. We focus on mathematical software that is developed in the open source license. We introduce many mathematical software systems and documents with Live Linux. We continue to release the latest version at every March, we have the annual meeting of Mathematical Society of Japan.
MathLibre is supporting various mathematical areas, Algebra, Geometry, Analysis, Statistics and Applied Mathematics, etc. From the edge of mathematical research to junior high school level, there are over 100 mathematical software systems in MathLibre. We can use TeX system, Office suite and programming language, also.
MathLibre is developed by the following committers.
We would like to thank the Department of Liberal Arts at Nihon University for supporting this project. Our project is partially supported by Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research No. 16K05139, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science 2016–2020.
